Visa waiver for Swiss citizens traveling to China: an opportunity to be seized!
From November 30, 2024 to December 31, 2025, Swiss citizens with ordinary passports will be able to travel to China without a visa for up to 30 days. This measure concerns business travel, tourism, family visits, transit or cultural exchanges.
However, this exemption is not universal: people who do not meet the criteria or are travelling for other reasons (e.g. with a service passport) will have to continue to apply for a visa before departure.
